Super Mario Bros.-like free JavaScript browser games
This red boy is absolutely not Mario. His name Masao means the man of justice in Japanese. His justice is to beat pokemon-like enemies 
and finally to seek the human-face star 
In 2001, Masao's founding father Naoto Fukuda launched 'editable' Super Mario-like stages named Masao Construction on his website (Japanese). Tens of thousands of gamers have constructed their own game worlds while tweaking open html codes and gif images for free. I'm just one of the constructors!
